So excited to announce that I’m a finalist in the 2019 Independent Audiobook Awards for the Best Male Narration category for The Enigma Always. This book was one of my favorites to narrate because of several characters such as Dr. Pekoni and Ling Po. I was sad to see that The Enigma Always didn’t make it as a finalist in the Fiction or Thriller category, but we can hopefully still bring home a win for one category at least.
I love narrating this series due to the challenge narrating a series like this provides. It’s not unusual to have to face 30+ accents, between 40+ characters in each book. My library of voice samples of characters is enormous.
The awards will be given out on June 7th at the HEAR Now festival. I can’t wait to find out how whether I’ve won or not. Just making it to the finalist stage is huge, for me. I’ll let you all know how it turns out, so thanks and keep listening!
